Position OverviewWe are seeking aCustomer Service Specialistto support patients by managing the full frontend service process. This role involves answering inbound calls, making outbound calls, processing orders, verifying insurance, reviewing documentation, and ensuring patients receive the equipment prescribed by their providers. The ideal candidate is organized, patientfocused, comfortable with high call volumes, and able to deliver excellent service in a healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Support & CommunicationAnswer inbound calls and emails promptly while meeting performance goals Make outbound calls as needed to follow up, confirm details, or gather missing documentation Educate patients on their financial responsibility when applicable Provide accurate information about products, services, and general support inquiries Route calls appropriately and follow up to ensure resolutionOrder Processing & DocumentationReview referral documentation for accuracy and completeness Create and process patient orders Verify and submit required forms and supporting documentation Maintain detailed, accurate records in accordance with SOPs Schedule patients to receive equipment as ordered by their providerInsurance VerificationComplete insurance eligibility checks Determine coverage, coinsurance, and deductibles Obtain preauthorization when required Submit physician orders to insurance carriers for review and approvalProduct & Company KnowledgeStay current on all products and services offered Maintain a working understanding of equipment types, ordering requirements, and patient needsRequired Skills & ExperienceCustomer service or call center experience Experience in healthcare, medical office work, or patient interaction Understanding of insurance processes preferred Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to work in a fastpaced, highvolume environment Excellent communication and problemsolving skillsPreferred QualificationsHandson patient care experience Familiarity with CPAP equipment or respiratory products Prior experience with medical documentation and insurance verificationExperience LevelEntry Level- training provided, healthcare experience strongly preferred. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kearney, NE. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
