Job Description

Position OverviewOur multi-specialty practice is seeking an experienced, evidence-based Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our clinical team. This role spans our Allergy/Immunology, ENT, and Wellness departments, providing specialized nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy. The position focuses on managing food allergies, eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), therapeutic elimination diets, weight management for patients with asthma and allergic conditions, and general wellness nutrition support across our practice. Key ResponsibilitiesAllergy/Immunology & ENT:Provide comprehensive nutritional assessment and individualized meal planning for patients with food allergies, eosinophilic esophagitis, and related gastrointestinal conditions Guide patients through various elimination diet protocols, including elimination diets for eosinophilic esophagitis, allergen-specific restrictions, various elimination diets Counsel patients and families on safe food alternatives, label reading, cross-contamination prevention, and nutritional adequacy while avoiding allergens Provide evidence-based weight management counseling Monitor growth parameters and nutritional status in pediatric and adult patients on restricted diets Educate patients on oral immunotherapy (OIT) protocols and dietary modifications during treatment, if applicable Wellness Services:Provide general nutrition counseling for health optimization, disease prevention, and lifestyle management Develop and implement evidence-based weight management programs Conduct individual and group wellness consultations focused on sustainable dietary changes Create educational materials and lead workshops on healthy eating, meal planning, and nutrition trends Support patients working toward metabolic health, cardiovascular wellness, and overall nutritional goals Collaborative Responsibilities:Collaborate with allergists, ENT physicians, and other healthcare providers across specialties to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records and communicate effectively with the care team Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions Required QualificationsRegistered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an ACEND-accredited program Active state licensure as a dietitian (where applicable) Minimum 2 years of clinical dietetics experience, with exposure to both specialty medical nutrition therapy and general wellness counseling Strong knowledge of food allergy management, elimination diet protocols, and EoE dietary therapy Experience or strong interest in preventive nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and wellness counseling Commitment to evidence-based practice and staying current with clinical nutrition research Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams Proficiency with electronic health record systems Preferred QualificationsBoard Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP) or willingness to pursue certification Experience working in allergy/immunology or gastroenterology settings Background in weight management and behavioral nutrition counseling Knowledge of oral food challenges and immunotherapy protocols Familiarity with pediatric growth assessment and failure to thrive Experience with diverse patient populations and cultural food practices What We OfferDiverse clinical experience across allergy/immunology, ENT, and wellness services Opportunity to build and shape our new wellness program Collaborative, multi-specialty practice environment with interdisciplinary collaboration Professional development and continuing education opportunities Supportive team environment with physician leadership Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Work Location: In person by Jobble
