HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, Florida, is seeking a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician to help build and lead a brand-new PM&R residency program, slated to start summer 2026. Qualified Candidates Must be board certified by the American Board of Physician Medicine and Rehabilitation or by the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Have at least three (3) years of prior and relevant clinical activity in practice At least three (3) years of prior GME administrative experience and formal academic appointments Documented scholarly activity within the past five (5) academic years such as peer reviews, research publications, review articles, peer-reviewed journals, textbook chapters, case reports or clinical series presentations at scientific society meetings, and participation in committees and educational organizations Be willing to combine administrative and diagnostic (teaching) responsibilities Have strong administrative and team building skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills About the Opportunity 42-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Center is recognized as a Newsweek Top 20 America's Best Physical Rehabilitation Center and part of the top 10 percent in the country as designated by the Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation Additionally, we are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities with Stroke Specialty and awarded for outstanding rehabilitation program performance Supported by hospitalist team who provide the medical treatment to rehab patients About HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital A full-service, level II trauma and acute-care hospital with 411 beds including 10 ORs and 40 ICU beds 24-bed psychiatric unit Hospital is the only Comprehensive Stroke Center in Clay County 9 ACGME residencies/fellowships 44 bed emergency department with 2 dedicated trauma bays with 112,000 annual patient visits Hospital Accolades Include American Heart Association Get with the Guidelines Recognitions Commission on Accreditation Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) with Stroke Specialty Named Among the Top 5% in the Nation for Critical Care, Gastrointestinal Surgery, GI Medical Treatment, Neurosciences, Overall GI Services, Pulmonary Services, Surgical Care and Treatment of Stroke by Healthgrades Interested in learning more?
