Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Health Care System which includes a team of Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeons seek to add a full-time Orthopedic Physician Assistant to directly work with a Total Joints Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon. The position includes both the OR and the clinic. This is a very busy total joints practice. The doctor utilizes the most minimally invasive procedures and advanced technology for hip and knee replacements and revisions. Responsibilities include: first assist, running clinics, pre- and post-operative H&P s, joint injections, writing scripts, removing casts and pins, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. The position offers great quality of life (no call, no evenings and no weekends). Successful Physician Assistants should be NCCPA-Certified and have some orthopedic experience. The location is in an upscale Chicago Suburb within the Palos Heights area. Very competitive compensation plan and a full benefits package is provided.
