OPEN POSITION: Position: Certified Medical Assistant Department: Sandusky Family Podiatry Clinic ( 4 days/week) and Bad Axe Specialty Clinic (1 day/week) Main Location: Sandusky, MI and Bad Axe, MI Hours: Full Time. REQUIREMENTS: Previous experience working in a Physician's office CMA, CCMA, or RMA is preferred Great attitude and engages patients with a smile Team player and problem solver; Ability to interact positively and proactively at all levels of the organization and with all physicians. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of patient care related tasks such as rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting the provider as necessary. Additional tasks include but are not limited to the use of our EMR system, registering patients, insurance verification, scanning medical records, phoning patients with results and proper medical documentation. The candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while providing quality patient care to all ages while maintaining patient confidentiality.
