Temporary Events & Finance Assistant Join our client as a Temporary Events & Finance Assistant and play a vital role in supporting impactful events and financial operations. This dynamic position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative projects focused on digital transformation while gaining valuable experience in event coordination and administrative management. Compensation: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour Responsibilities: Coordinate logistical details for a variety of high-profile events, including managing venue arrangements, catering, decor, and other event services. Provide in-person support during events, assisting with registration, setup, teardown, and guest management. Draft and disseminate detailed communication materials to speakers, participants, and staff to ensure smooth event execution. Facilitate travel arrangements, reimbursements, and accommodations for VIP guests and speakers. Conduct financial reviews, prepare expense reports, and analyze event budgets post-event. Support billing, invoicing, and collection processes as needed. Assist with other administrative tasks related to event planning, finance, and project coordination. Requirements: Proven ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and keen attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and professional communication-both written and oral. Proficiency in Mac and/or PC platforms, with advanced skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, including mail merge capabilities. Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and prioritize tasks efficiently. Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and in-person.event days. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Prior experience with event management and familiarity with platforms such as Eventbrite, HubSpot, or WordPress is highly desirable.
