Salary: $25.00 Hourly Location : Boulder County, CO Job Type: Hourly Job Number: 6671(ZZ2) Department: Parks and Open Space Division: Recreation and Facilities Opening Date: 03/03/2026 Closing Date: 3/15/2026 11:59 PM Mountain FLSA: Non-Exempt Description Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department is seeking to hire 2 (two) Seasonal Trailhead Maintenance Technicians. The main job function will include routine trash/recycling collection, restroom cleaning, sanitizing, servicing, and general maintenance of our park trailhead facilities. Seasonal Park Technicians will perform all methods of construction/building maintenance (with the exception of Electrical & HVAC systems), work primarily in outdoor locations, and regularly use available resources such as hand and power tools for necessary jobs. These are hourly, non-benefited positions that will work 40 hours per week, Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday, 7:00am - 5:30pm. These positions will work out of 5201 St Vrain Rd., Longmont, Colorado. Under Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines, these positions are non-exempt (eligible for overtime). Examples of DutiesTrailhead restroom cleaning, re-stocking, and sanitation implementation Routine trailhead trash and recycling pick-up Performing light construction and maintenance on park facilities Assists with graffiti removal, utilizing pressure washing equipment and specialized cleaning products Performing semi-skilled duties in the operation of hand tools, power tools, vehicles, and equipment Performing various manners of construction/building maintenance (with the exception of Electrical & HVAC systems) Assisting with other trailhead operation related projects Performs related work, as required May be reassigned during emergency situations Required Qualifications PLEASE NOTE: When completing your application describe all relevant education and experience, as applications are assessed based on the required qualifications listed.
