Job Title: Pilot Plant Manager Job Description: The Role Entegris is currently seeking aPilot PlantManager,to join ourCMP PadsManufacturingteam. This position will be based in ourAurora, Illinoisfacility. ThePilot PlantManagerpositionoversees all staff and daily operations within the pilot plant and is accountable for meetingpilotproduction requirements byensuring safety, quality, delivery, people development, and cost controlthrough effective supervision and workflow coordination.This also includesa heightenedenfaceoncustomersample turnaround timesfor strategic market wins.The Pilot Plant Manager will report to theSr. Operations Manager. This position will provide training, guidance, and motivation, while ensuring that work instructions arecreated,maintained,and followed.Your helpin supportinga culture where teamwork, innovation, and accountability are of the highest importance.This position worksclosely withoperations,productionengineering, planning, quality,technicalprogram,research and development,andothersupporting functions to ensure seamless communication across theplant. WhatYou'llDo: Ensure safe work practicesand proceduresarealways followedon the manufacturing floorduring pilot processing Workwith EHS andsiteleadership to improve safetyand 5S+Sculture, training, and hazard recognitionfor operators Effectivelymanage pilot plantstaff(technicians & planning)to ensure properraw materiallevelsareidentifiedand tool availability isplanned Be accountable foroperatorperformance,plant cleanliness,andadherence to safetyand operationsprocedures Support andmaintainfocus of product/materialtransfers to the Operations teamthrough engineering collaboration Act as first point of contactregardingany issues that may arise (safety, quality, people, etc.) andmaintainclear and consistent documentation and communication as needed Closely manageteam member area assignments to ensuredaily work direction is clear andschedule attainmentensuringon-time customer shipmentsareachieved Proactivelymonitordaily output of theteamandmachineefficiency, addressing gapsand escalating all issuesin a timely manner Assistwith evaluating and investigatingqualityandorprocess issues Provide training for team members incompliancewith requirements;identifyand resolve skill gaps with supplemental training as needed Demonstrate fiscalresponsibility through budget planning andstrong accountabilityofdepartmentinventorymanagement Communicate goals and expectations to team members and conduct performance managementprocess Worktogether with key functional groupswithin theorganizationtoresolve issues andensuresampleordergoals are met Maintain abilitytowork during off-shifthoursand provide on-sitesupportas needed,according to business need What We Seek: Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis inbusinessoperations,engineering, supply chainor equivalent Minimum5yearsofexperience in a manufacturing environment, withpreviousexperienceas a leader Planningdepartmentexperience/knowledge CNC and web lamination process knowledge a plus Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems: SAP experience preferred Computerproficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite Adherence to and embodimentof ourPACE Values Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;must build relationships and trust with teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability toformulatecharts and graphsto understand and display data Proven six sigma methodologies and proven successes WHY WORK AT ENTEGRIS?
