Apply for Job Job ID 84626 Location Davis Full/Part Time Full Time Add to Favorite Jobs Email this Job Job Summary Under direction of the CAO of the Blue Cluster and the leadership of the CPSE Director, provide administrative support for the Center for Public Service and Education (CPSE). Provide support for business functions for CPSE. Initiate financial transactions, assist with purchasing of supplies and process payments to vendors. Responsible for program and event coordination and marketing. Assist with planning and scheduling events, workshops, meetings, and conferences. Coordinate event packets and handouts and arrange catering. Maintain participant database. Assist with travel arrangements and travel reports. Assist with reconciliation of monthly ledgers as well as budget and expenditure monitoring. Experience with event planning and program workshops, conferences, or meetings; arranging venue, audio-visual needs, lodging arrangements, meeting materials and presentations. Experience using a computer and software programs including, MS Office, database programs, and automated accounting systems. Experience with purchasing, accounts payable and accounts receivable; and working with invoices, monthly reconciliation of purchases, billing, and collections. Experience with travel and entertainment reimbursements and payment processing, knowledge of policies and procedures pertaining to accounting and purchasing. Skills to develop a variety of communication tools, such as newsletters, flyers, and general correspondence. Interpersonal, communication and customer service skills to communicate and interact effectively with a diverse clientele. Organizational and time management skills prioritizing and handling multiple tasks, establishing goals, organizing projects, and meeting deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience using Aggie Enterprise, Salesforce, Cashnet, and Aggie Expense. Experience using social media and online marketing tools. Knowledge and skill to interpret and apply UC policies and procedures. Skills to interpret policy and procedures to maintain consistency with generally accepted accounting principles and compliance with all regulatory guidelines and requirements. Analytical skills to evaluate and assess systems and procedures. Familiarity with higher education and K12 communities, and education policies.
