Job Title: Payroll Manager Location: South Bend, Indiana (Fully Onsite) Salary Range: $100,000 – $110,000 Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to lead our payroll function onsite in South Bend, Indiana. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and leading a high-performing payroll team. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, deep technical payroll knowledge, and hands-on expertise with UKG. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the daily operations of the payroll department, including supervision and development of payroll staff Oversee full-cycle payroll processing with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness Audit payroll processes and review team members’ work to ensure compliance and accuracy Manage payroll tax filings (federal, state, and local), including reconciliations and year-end reporting (W-2s, etc.) Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, garnishments, benefit deductions, and applicable regulations Perform payroll account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Maintain and strengthen internal controls related to payroll Partner with HR, Finance, and external auditors as needed Support system optimization and continuous process improvement initiatives within UKG Serve as subject matter expert for payroll policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Qualifications Minimum 10 years of direct payroll experience, including full-cycle payroll processing Proven experience managing and developing a payroll team Required: Strong hands-on experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) Extensive experience with payroll tax filings, reporting, and reconciliations Demonstrated experience auditing payroll and reviewing work for accuracy and compliance Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred What We Offer Competitive salary range of $100,000–$110,000 Stable, growth-oriented organization Leadership opportunity with direct impact on payroll operations Collaborative and team-focused work environment This is a fully onsite leadership role requiring a hands-on payroll expert who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to operational excellence.#LI-ONSITE #LI-SH1 #INMAR2026 #payroll #hr #humanresource #payrollaccountant #UKG Click here to apply online
