Job Description We are currently hiring aPackaging Process Leader in Breinigsville, PA The Process Leader is responsible for developing the team's technical understanding and mastery of process control. Serves as the owner of the Centerline daily management system (DMS), Changeover DMS, and Process Change DMS. The Process Leader owns the integrity of the Line Event Data System and is responsible for data analytics of line losses. They are to act as the team's expert in troubleshooting and problem solving. What You'll Brew: The Process Leader is responsible for developing the team's technical understanding and mastery of process control Serves as the owner of the Centerline DMS, Changeover DMS, and Process Change DMS The Process Leader owns the integrity of the Line Event Data System and is responsible for data analytics of line losses They are to act as the team's expert in troubleshooting and problem solving Owns the Centerline Management system for the line(s), including: Establishing CL targets & limits for the equipment owned by the team, and ensuring all CL audits are completed at the proper frequency Develop control strategies to enable operators to respond to out of control situations along with training team members on documentation needed Investigating, validating & updating new CL standards Executing weekly Health Checks, identifying gaps in system, and implementing appropriate countermeasures Owns the Changeover DMS for the line(s) which includes establishing Changeover standards for all product SKU's Leading Rapid Changeover events to identify additional opportunities to reduce changeover time Owns the Process Change DMS & validation processes which Includes process benchmarking & reapplication across processes Analyzes line data to identify and prioritize loss elimination opportunities Participating in Line DDS process daily to set priorities and allocate resources, and report results for previous 24 hours: Using Reliability Engineering tools to drive Centerline DMS and loss elimination Leads root cause problem solving efforts on key chronic losses for the line(s) Coaches teams to build capability in problem solving skills and formal tools, including but not limited to Initial Problem Solving, Unified Problem Solving, 6W2H, and 5 Why's Leads and builds the capability of team around process failures technical troubleshooting What Ingredients You'll Bring: Minimum Qualifications: Education: 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree. BA/BS degree in relevant area (engineering, manufacturing or business administration) Experience in high speed bottling and canning preferredSpecific Technical Mastery preferredDemonstrated leadership and ability to lead small project teams1-4 years of demonstrated leadership experience in manufacturing environmentDemonstrated ability to be self-motivated and lead selfAbility and commitment to drive change in the organizationEffective verbal & written communication skillsAbility to work with all levels of management in multi-functional departmentsUse of Continuous Improvement, Root Cause, and problem-solving toolsProven analytical, problem-solving, and project management skillsDemonstrated ability to assimilate technical data to support recommendationsAbility to present to small and large groupsAble to flex schedule to reach all shifts and days as needs occurDemonstrated ability to be successful in a collaborative team environmentAbility to work with, analyze, and utilize data and informationComfortable taking leadership role and ability to effectively influence othersAble to impact and effect positive change with a flexible, open-minded, positive approachProficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Working Conditions Operating environment is complex and densely populated with production equipment and forklifts that necessitates high situational awareness Subject to loud and constant noise Non-environmentally conditioned spaces which may lead to extreme hot and cold Physical Requirements All production roles are required to pass a pre-employment physical exam to comply with their specific role requirement(s). Certain roles may require the use of a respirator and passing the associated fit test Ability to lift up to 50lbs, sometimes repeatedly Regular walking and standing for long periods of time (up to 11 hours a day) on concrete, metal and grated surfaces Responsibilities may require crouching, stepping over, crawling under, bending, twisting, climbing and reaching above head and shoulders repeatedly throughout the day Responsibilities may require climbing flights of stairs, working from heights, on elevated platforms, or in confined spaces Ability to wear assigned PPE (safety shoes, gloves, facemask, hearing protection and hard hat) Established dexterity so you can handle materials, operate equipment and interface with computer systems with precision Some roles (e.g., forklift operator) may be required to sit for a prolonged period of time and have strong peripheral vision and depth perception Level: 7IC In accordance with pay transparency laws the pay rate for this role if hired is $65,000-$120,000. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location.
