Title: Social Media Strategist 3 Pay: $50–$52/hour Hours: Monday–Friday; 8AM–5PM Location: Boston, MA 02114 (Onsite at Converse HQ; Fridays Remote) Duration: 7 month contract (coverage for a leave) Overview We are seeking a Social Media Strategist to support Global Social Media. This role will lead social-first storytelling, platform management, and community engagement across priority global channels. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in major social platforms, strong brand instinct, and experience working with top-tier brands. Candidates must be local and available to start ASAP. Job Description • Conceptualize and create compelling social-first content across Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube • Manage scheduling, publishing, and daily maintenance of global social media handles • Maintain channel hygiene including bio updates, links, highlights, playlists, and platform optimization • Engage with audiences through proactive community management and direct interaction • Monitor social sentiment and emerging trends to identify real-time opportunities • Maintain and evolve brand tone of voice across all social platforms • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Communications, and external agency partners • Support execution of high-impact brand stories aligned to cultural moments and product launches Required Skills • Minimum 5+ years in a senior-level social media role with recognized brands (e.g., athletic, lifestyle, fashion, or sports organizations) • Expert-level proficiency in Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube • Deep understanding of Gen Z culture, streetwear, sports, music, and pop culture trends • Strong writing skills with ability to adapt to and embody brand tone of voice • Proven experience executing community engagement strategies • Highly detail-oriented with strong creative taste • Ability to work independently and deliver within tight timelines • Strong cross-functional communication skills Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree required Benefits (employee contribution): Health insurance Health savings account Dental insurance Vision insurance Flexible spending accounts Life insurance Retirement plan All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
