Facility: This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that provides full-service obstetrics and gynecology care to the community. The facility features a Level II nursery with transfer capabilities to higher-level NICU facilities, onsite ultrasound services performed by technicians, and Epic documentation systems for both clinic and hospital services. Opportunity: Physician - OB/GYN Job Details: • Provide comprehensive OB/GYN services with 4-5 patients per physician per day in hospital setting • Handle case load consisting of 70% low risk pregnancy and 30% high risk pregnancy patients • Perform 3-4 deliveries per physician per week with 21% C-section rate • Conduct 1-4 emergent OB/GYN surgeries per week in hospital setting • Work alongside 7 OB/GYNs and 4 mid-levels with other OB/GYNs present during coverage • Call schedule of 4 shifts per month whenever possible with 24-hour in-house coverage • Required procedures include low and high risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) • Perform routine deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for C-sections • Handle complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs • Conduct repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations • Provide surgical gynecology services including open and laparoscopic procedures • Perform tubal ligations, LOAs, chromal tubation, ectopic pregnancy procedures, ovary removal, and cystectomies • OB ultrasound interpretation and Level I/screening (viability) preferred • Must be Board Certified in OB/GYN with active Colorado license or active IMLC LOQ • Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NRP • Epic documentation system experience with onsite lab and ultrasound services available • Weekend and on-call coverage required Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
