What You’ll Be Doing: Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial concrete work (foundations, slabs, walls, site concrete). Analyze blueprints, project plans, and specifications to determine scope and pricing. Conduct quantity take-offs and develop thorough cost breakdowns. Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and field teams to align on scope, schedule, and logistics. Solicit vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing. Submit accurate, timely bid proposals. Maintain bid tracking, historical cost data, and estimating software databases. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and early project planning. What We’re Looking For: Experience: 3–5+ years of estimating or commercial construction experience (with a concrete subcontractor or GC preferred). Open to training someone with a strong PM background and interest in preconstruction. Technical Skills: Familiarity with construction softwares and estimating tools. Soft Skills: Strong organizational habits, attention to detail, and a team-first mindset.
