Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Full-Time Urgent Care Physician Temple, Texas Join NextCare and practice in a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment where physicians are empowered to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining true work-life balance. Position Details Location: Temple, TX Status: Full-Time Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM, 7 days/week Compensation: $130 $140/hour (based on experience) + bonus Benefits: Full benefits package Why Physicians Choose NextCare No after-hours charting or call responsibilities Predictable scheduling with monthly schedules released in advance Work fewer days than you re off Strong clinical teams and accessible medical leadership Clear clinical guidelines and real-time physician support Broad patient population with generally low-acuity presentations Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging Perform urgent care procedures including suturing and wound management Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions clearly Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR Code and bill services appropriately Maintain productivity aligned with urgent care benchmarks Practice in alignment with company clinical standards and values Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Texas MD or DO license Board certification or eligibility Active DEA license (or ability to obtain) Ability to treat patients of all ages Active BLS certification EHR proficiency Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered) Preferred Experience Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Fast-Track experience Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care) Experience with preliminary X-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read About NextCare NextCare is one of the nation s largest urgent care providers, operating 160+ clinics across 11 states.
