As a key member of the Foot & Ankle Medical Education Team you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes. Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Lead Reports To: Sr Manager, Global Sourcing Location: Remote (prefer Houston or Dallas area) Business Unit Description: Foot and Ankle The Sourcing Lead is responsible for executing the overall strategy and tasks of the Strategic Sourcing Program. These tasks include supplier relationship development and securing targeted levels of cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability to support NPI, active production and strategic initiatives. This role focuses on finding and developing sources for the Foot & Ankle business unit. Additionally, the position will oversee the development and implementation of strategies that actively search for performance improvement and cost reduction opportunities by understanding customer needs, supply market trends, and innovation. Key Responsibilities: The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need. Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to identify and prioritize short, medium, and long-term opportunities for supply chain optimization, performance improvement, cost reduction, supply chain stability, and growth-plan support Research, identify and present "make vs. buy" and external manufacturing transfer opportunities to achieve optimal value in support of NPI and active production Create, issue and manage RFQs. Manage quote evaluations and final vendor selections Create and communicate supplier scorecards with internal business stakeholders Apply Project Management methodologies and frameworks to develop and lead cost avoidance and PPV generating projects Actively seek and develop opportunities with new suppliers Identify and implement supply chain risk minimization measures. Work with suppliers to improve supply chain efficiency utilizing lean methodology Define and track key performance indicators for supply base Perform regular reviews of established procurement processes to ensure continual improvement Negotiate supply agreements with key suppliers Develop and execute sourcing strategy with support and consensus of cross-functional stakeholders; measure and report progress to leadership; adjust strategy as business priorities change Lead supplier assessment and selection process; develop and maintain effective supplier relationships Minimum Basic Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, economics, finance, logistics, or a related field Minimum three years' Sourcing experience in a related industry Willingness to travel to develop, promote, and maintain strategic sourcing relationships Desired Characteristics: Experience in medical device manufacturing a plus Superb leadership and communication skills Advanced ability to collaborate and negotiate Excellent organizational and time management skills Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities "Creating better together".
