Volt is immediately hiring foraBenefits Specialistin Costa Mesa, CA As aBenefits Specialist,you may assist with the following: Leave of Absence: Performs analysis regarding the development and administration of the Club's leave of absence program and makes recommendations to management. Responsible for the organization's compliance as it pertains to FMLA, ADA, CFRA and other regulations. Engages in the interactive process with employees, management, and/or the employee relations department. Works with the leave of absence administrator on workplace accommodation requests. Analyzes situations and recommends appropriate action. Provides training on leave of absence processes to management. Interfaces with employees, management, business partners, vendors, and the legal department. Adheres to strict confidentiality requirements Workers Compensation: Performs analysis regarding the development and administration of the organization's Workers' Compensation program and makes recommendations to management. Responsible for the organization's compliance as it pertains to the appropriate state/federal regulations. Duties include setting up new claims, obtaining accident information, evaluating issues, identifying red flags, determining the type of claim and directing to the Claims Administrator for handling. Acts as a facilitator to make sure all relevant claims data is quickly dispersed to the appropriate parties to prevent delays in processing. Interfaces with employees, management, business partners, vendors, and the legal department. Adheres to strict confidentiality requirements. May assist in other areas of benefits, wellness administration This is atemp 3-month position. If openings develop during role, you are eligible to be considered for permanent positions. Schedule:Monday Friday 8am 5pm. This is a full-time onsite job at the Costa Mesa HQ. The ideal candidate will have: 1 3 years of experience with LOA or Workers Comp administration Experience with Workday preferred, not required Proficiency using MS Office Pay Rate:$67,000 - $90,000annually DOE Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates shouldAPPLY NOWfor immediate consideration!
