Position description The UC Merced Center for Educational Partnerships is to provide student, school, and parent-centered services that ultimately result in students having the greatest number of post-secondary choices from the widest array of options upon graduation. UC Merced Center for Educational Partnerships anticipates reappointing and hiring part-time Teacher - Special Programs positions to teach in the following Programs in AY 2026-2027: UC Scholars Talent Search Upward Bound Gateway Scholars Upward Bound Math & Science Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) Bridging the Gap in Mathematics Other programs as determined This is a limited-term appointment which falls under the purview of the agreement for the Lecturers Unit between University of California and the American Federation of Teachers. Department: Qualifications Basic qualifications Applicants must have either a Bachelor's or equivalent international degree at the time of application, a record of experience teaching mathematics and/or English Language Arts. Preferred qualifications Master's Degree in English and/or Mathematics with a teaching credential preferred, in addition to teaching experience at the K-12 level(s).
