Controller (ATX)

A fast-paced financial services firm is seeking a Controller to oversee core accounting operations. This role helps strengthen financial systems, improve reporting accuracy, and partner with leadership on budgeting, audits, and ongoing process improvements. Manage general ledger activity, handle cash reconciliations, and lead the quarterly close. Oversee AP/AR, vendor workflows, and invoicing through Bill.com while maintaining cash forecasts. Keep financial documentation organized and accessible in shared systems. Build quarterly reporting packages and streamline close processes. Prepare billing to portfolio companies and funds for shared costs. Support tax considerations, the annual budgeting cycle, and overall financial operations. Coordinate with fund administrators on quarterly NAVs across multiple funds. Assist with LP inquiries, investor reporting, and maintain accurate wire instructions. Manage tax filing processes for blocker entities and support interim/year?end fund audits. Review capital calls and distribution notices and maintain escrow tracking. Assist with accounting for GP?level entities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field required; CPA or MBA preferred. Skilled in financial systems, data analysis, and process improvement, with excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail. Strong accounting foundation with experience in month?end close, journal entries, AP/AR, expense management, and financial statement preparation; prior Controller and public accounting experience are highly valued. #SONIATX
