General Statement of Duties Closing Date: This position closes on Monday, March 16, 2026. Provides screening, counseling, case management, training or other specific treatment or rehabilitation activities as directed for the Early Childhood Intervention Program in an hourly capacity; does related work as required. Essential Duties Provides service coordination to families of children in Early Intervention Program (birth to 3 years). Meet families to assess their needs and provide assistance obtaining needed services to enhance the child's development. Position is responsible for working with various public and private agencies who serve children receiving services from the Infant-Toddler Connection of Henrico, Charles City, and New Kent counties. Knowledge of principles, practices and methods of treatment and/or rehabilitation of individuals with a development disability some knowledge of developmental disabilities and related problems; good interpersonal skills which include the ability to empathize, demonstrate respect, communicate, reflect feelings and confront constructively; ability to relate freely to and work effectively with clients and professionals from all levels of the community; adherence to basic ethics appropriate for any helping relationship; ability to write concisely and coherently; demonstrated ability to use good judgment. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a bachelor's degree in a behavioral science; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Additional Information Flexible work schedule up to 29 hours per week Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Valid Virginia driver's license required.
