Arts & Crafts Specialist - Summer Day Camp

Job Description Make this summer unforgettable by nurturing creativity in young artists! Girl Scouts San Diego is looking for an enthusiastic Arts & Crafts Specialist who enjoys guiding campers as they explore artistic expression through a variety of materials and techniques. What You'll Do: Develop fun, age-appropriate, nature?themed art activities that inspire imagination. Lead campers ages 7-17 in creating meaningful keepsakes that celebrate their time at camp. Keep the arts & crafts area organized and ensure supplies are well?stocked throughout the season. Contribute to the overall camp experience by supporting staff with daily tasks and camp traditions. Employment Details: Dates: June 1 - July 31, 2026 Pay: $123 - $131 per day (depending on experience) Experience and Skills What You Bring: Age 21+ by June 1, 2026. Ability to commit to the full camp season (June 1 - July 31, 2026) and attend all pre-camp trainings. Experience instructing arts & crafts activities; background in camps, youth programs, or education preferred. Skill in and familiarity with utilizing a variety of art mediums and techniques. Flexibility and willingness to assist with operations outside of arts activities to ensure a successful camp program overall. Current First Aid/CPR certification.
