DescriptionPosition Summary Delta Health seeking an experienced HR Generalist / Benefits Specialist to administer employee benefits programs and support daily HR operations. This role ensures accurate benefits processing, leave management, HR compliance, and employee record maintenance while providing excellent service to staff and leadership. Key Responsibilities Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, EAP, and 403(b). Manage benefits enrollments, life status changes, audits, and open enrollment. Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and retirement plans. Process and manage all leave-of-absence requests, including FMLA, ADA, medical, military, and disability leaves. Maintain PTO programs (vacation, sick, bereavement, etc.) in the HR system. Process employee changes (compensation, promotions, transfers, terminations). Conduct background checks and employment verifications. Track licensure, certifications, required training, and compliance documentation. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Maintain accurate HRIS data and reporting. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of HR/benefits experience preferred OR High School diploma with 5+ years of HR/benefits experience required PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred Strong knowledge of employment law, FMLA, and ADA HRIS experience and Microsoft Office proficiency Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills High level of professionalism and confidentiality Why Join Delta Health?Comprehensive Benefits Package Medical, RX, Dental & Vision - Low premiums with 100% coverage on services provided within the Delta Health system, and no deductibles or co-pays.
