Job Details Location: Boston, MA 02115 (Boston healthcare jobs) Assignment Type: Travel (travel nursing jobs) Unit: NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) - CWN 6 Nicu Staff (BW4520) Start Date: April 6, 2026 End Date: July 4, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, day/night rotator Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period Compensation: Estimated weekly pay: $2250-$2370/week. Job Requirements Active RN license with NICU experience (Neonatal RN / NICU RN) Minimum 1 year of recent NICU nursing experience required BLS certification (current and valid) Ability to work rotating day and night 12-hour shifts Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and neonatal critical care skills Compliance with onboarding health screenings and background check requirements Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill neonates in the NICU Monitor, assess, and document patient status, interventions, and progress in electronic medical records Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (neonatologists, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants) to develop and implement individualized care plans Administer medications, treatments, and specialized neonatal interventions as prescribed Educate, communicate with, and support families during their NICU experience Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff and adhere to infection control protocols Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Ready to advance your career as a NICU travel nurse in Boston, MA?
