Join Our Team in the Prepared Foods Division as an Accounting Administrator! SUMMARY: This facility is part of our Prepared Foods business unit. This position has two functions: accounting and payroll. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Payroll and Accounting Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll functions efficiently while also providing accounting support to the Plant Controller. Additionally, you will oversee employee supply processes and assist in various plant management tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. RESPONSIBILITIES: Payroll: Assist plant supervision with daily and weekly time and attendance activities using SAP Payroll. Monitor plant time analytics in SAP Payroll, ensuring adherence to corporate policies. Provide training to new supervisors on payroll processes as necessary. Process approved vacation, holiday, and sick pay accurately into the payroll system. Enter payroll deductions into SAP Payroll accurately and in a timely manner. Address Team Members' payroll questions and concerns promptly and effectively. Complete AskHR/Box Office tickets as required. Accounting: Prepare daily and weekly reports for the Plant Controller. Assist the Controller with plant variance information for upload into SAP. Provide support to the plant management team, including monitoring processes in production areas. Assist in self-audits of critical processes as determined by corporate accounting. Additional Responsibilities: Manage employee supply processes, including inventory and ordering of office supplies, boots, freezer jackets, cafeteria items, and employee sales. Perform miscellaneous tasks such as records retention, entering PO receiving in SAP/Coupa, and supporting HR with plant activities. Undertake other duties and projects as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. College level degree is highly preferred. Experience: 3+ years' payroll experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred. Computer Skills: Requires basic computer skills including using a Tyson Business Computer System as well as Microsoft Office & Excel, SAP and Kronos experience preferred. Communication Skills: Requires written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of management. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results, and coordinating with others. Assignments are defined and the approach to be taken is usually determined in coordination with others. Travel: None Must reside in the United States to be considered. Sponsorship is not available for this position. ADDITIONAL INTERNAL REQUIREMENTS: Must not have 4 or more attendance points for locations on an 8-point policy (on application date) No written warning in the past six (6) months.
