Salary: $15.00 Hourly Location : Menasha, WI Job Type: Seasonal Department: Park and Recreation Opening Date: 03/03/2026 Closing Date: Continuous Summary of Job The City of Menasha Parks & Recreation Department is seeking motivated Seasonal Maintenance Workers to assist with the day-to-day upkeep and enhancement of city parks, grounds, and facilities. This hands-on position plays an important role in maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming public spaces for our community. Schedule: May - August Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM 40 hours per week This is a great full-time summer opportunity to work outdoors, gain valuable experience, and make a visible impact in the Menasha community. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with cleaning and maintaining shelters and park restrooms Assist with mowing and trimming in various parks, trails, and green spaces Assist with maintenance of grounds, trees, flower beds and turf including weeding, mulching, watering, and dead heading Assist with special events set-up and take down Assist with maintenance of ball diamonds and other athletic facilities Provides assistance with facility repair and construction projects Follow City and Department safety, personnel and administrative policies, procedures and ordinances Perform other related job duties as assigned QualificationsMust be 18 years old or older Valid Driver's License KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Safely operate a pick-up truck, gator, lawnmowers, trackless vehicle, one ton dump truck, and trimming devices. Must be able to communicate with the public.
