STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES develops and integrates products, engineering support, repair and maintenance services to provide value-added solutions to owners, engineers and contractors. STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is the in-house engineering business line of Structural Group. Warehouse Shop Forman duties include but are not limited to: Assist in coordinating Safety initiatives and training of shop personnel Quality checks for incoming and Products produced Shipping and receiving paperwork Computer inputting Inventory management Delivery handling loading and unloading Lead and assign task to shop employees Candidate considered will have 5+ years of experience working in a shop/warehouse environment. Knowledge in Software programs Excel, Power Point, Word and Manufacturing inventory control systems. Candidate must have reliable transportation. Must have a valid driver's license to operate company vehicle if needed for business purposes with a good driving record (MVR checks will be processed). Must be flexible with work hours to deal with urgent material orders, on time deliveries and order fulfillment needs. Must have a priority for Safety, dedication to Quality, be team and solution oriented, with a proactive approach, professional, positive attitude. Reports to the Plant Manager. Additional Experience Requirements Or PT Manufacturing Facility, Candidate to poses at least 3+ of those years in a management role OR a combination of experience, skills and demonstrated leadership capabilities. Must have Fluent English language communication skills to include speaking, reading and writing. Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of commercial, public, or industrial structures; business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources; arithmetic and its applications; principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction; machines and tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance; relevant policies, procedures, and strategies to promote safety. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensures that all equipment stays in operating condition Ensures that the plant stays in compliance with all regulatory entities Ensures that daily orders are shipped and on time in coordination with Engineering Managers, Project Managers, and Coordinators Experience operating a forklift and certification for loading and unloading Flat Bed Trailers Monitors all products and that they meet Safety, Quality, and Production policies and procedures Understands the basics of plastics injection molding, sheer rail welder, extruder and duct operation, chiller operation, compressor operation Physical Requirements Able to pass a respirator fit test and wear a respirator when required on specific task Able to pass Pulmonary Function / Fit Test if applicable Performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs while moving whole body Performs physical activity such as climbing ladders/scaffolding Able to move your hand, hand and arm together, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, assemble objects Able to keep hand and arm steady while moving arm or holding arm and hand in one position Able to coordinate two or more limbs while sitting, standing, or lying down Able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50lbs without assistance Ability to handle and utilize various tools and equipment Must have capability to operate vehicles, mechanized devices, or equipment such as forklifts Able to speak and hear detailed information through oral communication Has visual acuity to see items clearly and sharply and to recognize small detail Special Requirements Ability to Travel - Up To 5% Willing to travel if applicable from Branch Office Willing to work 50-60 hour per week and have flexible work hours Willing to work whenever/wherever needed, including night shift, out of town, etc. Willing to work at heights up to 50 feet off the ground Possess valid driver's license to operate company vehicles or to drive for business purposes Structural Technologies is proud of a company culture that promotes 24/7 safety and quality.
