SUMMARY Supports the Assisted Living Administrator and RN Clinical Supervisor by scheduling appointments, providing information to callers, and otherwise relieves the Assisted Living Administrator and RN Clinical Supervisor of clerical work, administrative and business detail by performing the following duties. Also assists other Assisted Living department needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. -Payroll check for accuracy correct miss punches -Monthly Long term care insurance claims -Scheduling and staffing this would include the management of call outs -Resident appointments arrange clinic and off site medical appointments -Assisting with medical records we currently have boxes of items that need to be sent to offsite storage. We have records that need to be kept on site for a year that needs to be boxed up and prepared to go to the new location. Also to assist with ---upload and scanning daily physician notes, orders, lab requisitions etc. -Funneling of unit and marketing phone calls -Assisting with unscheduled tours -Managing concern log -Managing and updating unit binders, elopement books, departmental handbooks -Assisting with marketing needs (tours, pricing, appointments, meet and greets) -Order supplies, ensure appropriate billing -Scheduling family meetings -Record keeping and reporting -Transcribing meeting notes -Assist in employee orientation -Assist in managing employee and resident files -Generating monthly reports Practices Extraordinary Impressions and interacts courteously, tactfully and politely with managers, co-workers, residents, vendors or associates to preserve productivity and moral. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work well with our residents, family members, and staff. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint required. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
