Job Full Description Construction Laborer - Traveling | Up to $35/hr | Waverly, NELocation: Based in Lincoln/Waverly, NE (minimum 50% travel required across the U.S.) Pay: Up to $35/hr Employment Type: Full-time About the Role Express Employment Professionals is hiring Construction Laborers to join the traveling division of a well-established construction company in Waverly, NE. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in construction, general labor, carpentry, assembly, welding, concrete, or related trades who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and traveling nationwide. As a Traveling Construction Laborer, you'll support access control, gate, and fence installation projects across the United States. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and eager to grow within a high-performing team. What You'll Do Assist with access control, gate, and fence installations Load and secure materials, tools, and equipment for daily jobsite deployment Read and follow blueprints, job plans, and specifications Perform general labor tasks including concrete work, assembly, and site preparation Conduct low-voltage electrical work Operate heavy equipment and perform basic welding tasks Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment Travel nationwide -- 50%+ travel required Uphold all safety standards and participate in jobsite safety practices Communicate daily progress with project managers and field teams Assist with troubleshooting, quality checks, and corrective actions Perform additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For 2+ years of construction experience required (fence, railing, or netting experience a plus) Background in general labor, carpentry, assembly, plumbing, or similar trades required Experience with concrete, heavy equipment, and/or welding required Clean motor vehicle record and valid driver's license required Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player Willingness to learn and take initiative Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office) Why You'll Love Working Here This company offers one of the strongest benefits packages in the region, including: Health, dental, vision, life, and accident insurance Short-term disability 401(k) with 3% company match HSA options Paid Time Off (PTO) Fitness club access Boot vouchers after 60 days Potential company vehicle Hotels paid when traveling + $50/day per diem Professional development opportunities Compensation Up to $35 per hour, depending on experience.
