Registered Nurse (RN) - LTAC Travel Nurse - Day Shift - Youngstown, OH 44512 Now hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) travel nurse assignment in Youngstown, OH. Job Details Location: Youngstown, OH 44512 (Northeast Ohio) Role / Setting: Registered Nurse (RN) - Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Position Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse / Travel RN) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Estimated Weekly Pay: $1660-$1750/week Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), three shifts per week; every other weekend and holiday required Hours per Week: 36 Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS certification required prior to first shift ACLS certification required prior to first shift Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience required (2 years highly desired) Experience in LTAC, acute care, step-down, or similar settings preferred Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills (electronic health record experience preferred) Key Responsibilities (LTAC RN / Acute Care Nurse) Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Supervise and provide direction to LPNs, CNAs, and orientees as needed Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies and LTAC best practices Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the EHR in a timely manner Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences and patient rehabilitation programs to support recovery goals Initiate discharge planning and provide patient/family education beginning on admission Communicate changes in patient condition to the care team to ensure continuity and high-quality care Maintain a positive, collaborative work environment and assist with unit operations and team building Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation Join our healthcare team today - Apply now to be considered for this Long-Term Acute Care RN travel nursing position in Youngstown, OH.
