We are seeking an experienced Foreman Pipefitter to lead our skilled pipefitting crews on high-impact projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for a proven professional who excels at managing teams, driving project success, and maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise pipefitting crews on-site, setting clear daily goals, monitoring progress, and ensuring teams meet or exceed objectives. Coordinate with the Superintendent, Project Manager, subcontractors, engineers, and clients to optimize schedules, manage resources, and keep projects on track. Perform accurate takeoffs, plan material needs, verify on-site availability of supplies, and coordinate deliveries with the shop for maximum efficiency. Track project progress, costs, hours, materials, and issues through detailed daily reports, timesheets, and job files; provide regular updates and percentage completion reports. Enforce strict safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain a clean, organized, and secure job site. Perform pipefitting tasks as needed to support the crew, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems meet specifications and function properly. Train, mentor, and guide team members on advanced pipefitting techniques, best practices, and quality standards. Proactively identify potential problems, suggest improvements, and resolve issues to prevent delays or disruptions. Conduct site surveys, inspections, and quality checks to verify work meets IC Mechanical's standards and project requirements. Participate in project start-ups, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; formal pipefitting training required. 4+ years of hands-on pipefitting experience; journeyman status or ability to obtain a pipefitter license preferred. Valid Pipefitter License (or equivalent) strongly preferred. Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, prepare accurate material lists, and manage scheduling and resource planning. Strong mechanical aptitude, spatial reasoning, and attention to detail. Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, bend, stand, and walk on uneven terrain for extended periods. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; composure under pressure. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience working on government facilities or large commercial/industrial projects highly desirable. Must pass a background check and drug screening. Why Join IC Mechanical?
