Physical Requirements Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects, including the human body Visual Acuity The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; and visual inspection involving small defects at distances close to the eyes. Up to 2/3 of the time: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors). Less than 1/3 of the time: Distance vision (clear feet at 20 feet or more) Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point) Depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships) Ability to adjust visual focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus). Weather Conditions The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (as in typical office or administrative work).
