Our client, a leader in high-precision manufacturing supporting defense and aerospace industries, is seeking a Defense Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Defense Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the Manufacturing and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to quality management, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Defense Quality Inspector Location: Sun Valley, CA Pay Range: $25 - $31 / hrShift: 6 am - 230 pm Monday through FridayWhat's the Job? Perform 100% inspection of electronic products in a high-rate manufacturing environment. Read, review, and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings accurately. Handle electronic component hazmat safely and effectively, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize experience with AS9102 FAI and AS9163 C of C review to ensure product quality. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, Supply, and Administrative teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes. What's Needed? High School Diploma with 6+ years of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing setting. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Experience with AS9102 FAI, AS9163 C of C review, and AQL standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturing work orders. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting. What's in it for me?
