Packing Line Lead

As a Packing Line Lead you will provide oversight and direction to a team of associates to achieve desired operating results in daily Packing jobs. Shift: 1st shift, 5:45am - 4:30pm Four, 10-hour shifts per week Rotating schedule requires working two Saturdays every three weeks Sundays not required unless overtime is needed Location: Ephrata, PA What you get to do as a Packing Line Lead Oversee a team packing or reworking product, assigning manpower effectively and ensuring finished product meets quality and labeling standards Ensure team performance meets established standards for productivity, quality, appearance, and accuracy Complete required job documentation, accurately recording product details, labor hours, performance, and supplies used; utilize RF Smart and Priya Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety, organic requirements, and safe work practices Train and coach associates on packing procedures, product quality, labeling requirements, and safety standards Identify and implement process improvements using continuous improvement tools Partner with buyers, QC, sales, sister companies, and Packing Managers to address issues and meet customer expectations Lead by example through professionalism, clear communication, accountability, and integrity What you bring High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience in the produce industry preferred 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred Knowledge of perishable products and food safety requirements Strong computer skills, including production tracking systems Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Ability to plan, prioritize, delegate, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment Bilingual (English-Spanish) skills preferred but not required What We Offer Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Earned Wage Access - flexible access to wages before payday Paid time off and holidays Flexible Spending Account - healthcare and dependent care Health Savings Account - high deductible medical plan Retirement 401(k) with employer match Company life insurance & voluntary life insurance Short-term and long-term disability Additional benefits include tuition reimbursement, wellness program, employee assistance program, Success Coach, and more!
