Position Summary We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator to join our operations in Rogers, Arkansas. This role involves operating a material handler (similar to an excavator), wheel loader, and articulating dump truck to load, unload, and sort scrap materials. Key Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment to load and unload trucks, semi-trailers, and rail cars. Sort and relocate scrap materials within the yard. Inspect inbound and outbound loads for safety and compliance. Perform routine maintenance such as greasing and oil changes. Assist with minor crane maintenance and general labor tasks. Wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Prior experience operating heavy machinery or driving a semi-tractor/trailer is a plus - training will be provided. Basic machine maintenance knowledge is a bonus.
