Job Title: Senior Scrum Master Contract Length: 12+ Months On Site Work Location: CHARLOTTE, NC 28262 Ref# 245381 Seeking a Senior Scrum Master contractor to support development of a suite of Information Management (IMU) applications and services within the COO organization. The Scrum Master will manage an evolving Agile portfolio supporting three service domains within a large product. This role requires leadership of Agile execution across multiple workstreams while ensuring adherence to SDLC standards, enterprise governance requirements, and release management processes within a regulated financial services environment. Key Responsibilities Lead Agile/Scrum practices and guide teams in Agile best practices Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies for one or more teams Execute SDLC processes, including change execution in ServiceNow and other systems Ensure all SDLC hard gates are met and value is delivered reliably and on time Identify and remove team impediments and systemic blockers Use empirical data to assess team maturity and drive continuous improvement Support QA, UAT, and automated testing activities across multiple workstreams Coordinate software releases in compliance with enterprise governance standards Partner with Product Owners to refine and maintain backlogs across multiple projects Collaborate with discipline managers, program managers, and stakeholders Drive Scrum adoption and promote organizational agility Assess team capabilities and recommend adjustments to improve performance Facilitate moderately complex initiatives, enhancements, and maintenance efforts Communicate progress, risks, and issues to executives, risk, and compliance partners Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or higher Scrum Master certification(s) (e.g., SAFe) Recent (within the last 3 years) SDLC experience in the same enterprise environment 10+ years of Agile experience 10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master 3+ years of JIRA experience Desired Qualifications Enterprise Information Technology experience Experience in financial services or related industries Experience with large-scale development projects, including data migrations and vendor integrations Ability to lead high-risk and complex initiatives Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Additional Desired Qualifications Executive-level communication and presentation skills Experience working with risk and compliance professionals Ability to identify regulatory requirements and deficiencies Experience writing requirements documents and conducting gap analysis Experience managing large-scale initiatives across business and technical stakeholders Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines Strong relationship management experience Experience managing technology platform implementations in financial or risk environments Work Schedule Selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Charlotte, NC a minimum of three days per week.
