Steel Estimator

Summary:A steel fabricating company is looking for an Estimator to join their team. In this position candidates would be responsible for evaluating bid specifications, requirements, and material take offs to prepare a complete estimate. This Direct Hire position offers a 1st Shift Schedule with pay consideration starts at 55k and also includes a competitive benefits package and profit sharing. Responsibilities:Read and interpret job bid requirements, blueprints and specs to prepare estimates Prepare and all inclusive material take offs and identify labor and buy out items Prepare directive and request quotes for subcontractors and suppliers to compile accurate pricing Maintain consistent with other departments and suppliers RequirementsBachelor's degree in related field or 1 year of field experience Estimating experience and structural steel knowledge Experience using FabSuite and Tekla EPM Strong math skills and detail oriented Ability to work in a team environment and strong communication skills #indMMIS
