Position Highlights: 249-bed community hospital located in Manchester, CT 3 physicians and 1 APP during the day, dedicated Nocturnist overnight 22 bed Closed ICU - managed with own intensivist group No procedures Average overnight census - 65 Average overnight admissions - 7 Day APP - starts with 13 patients and possible 2 admissions throughout the day Site Coordinator and Clinical Performance Nurse Family Residency on site to help with night admissions 7 on|7 off - day APP 7am to 7pm; Nocturnist 7pm to 7am No Cath Lab on-site - all patients that present to ER get transferred out. EMR - Meditech with Dragon, upgrading to EPIC in July 2026 Codes: Hospitalists are a part of the Rapid Response Team Location: 20 minutes from Hartford and other great communities to live Open to EXPERIENCED NP or PA Compensation: $150,000|year (may be flexible for a very experienced APP) Productivity incentive Qualifications: Board-certified physician assistant|Nurse Practitioner 2+ years of acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant experience is required.
