We look forward to meeting you!As a Manager in our Tax service line, you will be responsible for the following:Provides tax compliance and advisory services to High Net Worth Individuals including their closely related businesses, trusts, and exempt organizationsLeads teams of seniors and staff accountantsOversees planning and scheduling of engagementsResearch complextax issuesEnsures quality of work productMonitors work-flowCoaches/mentors individual team membersProvides formal and informal feedbackCommunicates progress to partnersDevelops and maintains strong client relationships with client personnel and prospective clientsWorks closely with clients to advise on income tax issues and related tax planningTo be successful, these are the skills and experience you will need:Undergraduate degree in accounting; Master's in Tax a plusCPA certificateMinimum 5 years of tax experience required with a strong technical background in high net worth individual taxationStrong organizational and management skillsExcellent written, oral communication and documentation skillsAbility to articulate complex tax matters in "business" languageAbility to integrate and team with othersAbility to work effectively in a demanding, fast-paced and complex environmentStrong team player with emphasis on the continued growth and development of team membersExcellent analytical skills and judgementYou Matter - HCVT provides a variety of benefits and perks that help sustain a healthy and thriving work environment.Visit the Benefits section to learn moreThis salary range is specific to the state(s) listed and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set and education; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
