Functional Area Logistics Department Pick/Pack/Ship Cost Center 042000 Reports to (Position Name): Supervisor, Operations Leadership Responsibility ? Yes ? No Purpose of the Job The Materials Associate I will perform materials / logistics related functions in order to support the manufacturing and distribution of Hearing Aids, FM Systems and Accessories. Position is based out of Aurora, IL. Key Tasks & Responsibilities May perform any or all of the following functions Order fulfillment (Packing, Picking) Value Added Assembly (RIC, Battery Label, BTE Recasing) Invoicing Driver Visual inspects product, identifies defects/rejects and escalates as required Active participation in quality improvement processes Initiates process improvements and motivates peers to achieve team goals Meets established individual and team goals Maintains workstation in a clean, safe and orderly manner Flex to various positions as business needs require Travelling Requirement Qualifications need to have nice to have Basic Education High School Diploma or equivalent Further Education Work Experience 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, logistics and/or receiving Strong Knowledge of inventory management concepts Willingness to work in a team environment Open to flex/change job assignments Good communication and interpersonal skills Excellent manual dexterity, use small hand tools and light bench equipment Able to read small font, follow and understand work instructions Ability to use both hands to perform tasks such as moving material, product, and equipment Demonstrated understanding and handling of material in accordance with established safety procedures Able to use a computer, train others and use problem solving techniques Ability to count, verify and audit inventory locations Perform other duties as assigned Personal Competencies Social Competencies Leadership Competencies Professional Competencies Language(s) / Level Must be able to speak, read and write in English IT skills Further Requirements Valid Il Driver's License Stand for 8 hours a day Walk for 8 hours a day Lift weight of up to 50 lbs.
