Position Overview The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process to ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices and internal expenses. This role plays a critical part in maintaining strong vendor relationships, supporting financial accuracy, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently. Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approvals. Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies. Prepare and execute weekly check runs and ACH payments. Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and updated contact information. Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding balances. Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Assist with month-end close, including accruals and AP reporting. Support audits by providing requested documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting. Strong understanding of full-cycle accounts payable processes. High attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with accounting software/ERP systems (NetSuite, Great Plains, or similar preferred). Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
