Project Manager

Project Manager Direct Hire role with excellent benefits! Summary: We have a leading manufacturing client that supports the commercial and industrial construction industry, actively seeking Project Managers to join the team. This person should be well versed in construction projects, ideally with some exposure to mechanical systems, and interested in supporting our clients with their projects and deliverables. This will include working with sales and other internal stakeholders to ensure the end-users projects are being supported & products are being delivered on time. This person will be at the heart of major construction projects, coordinating with both customers and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary liaison between clients purchasing mechanical system components and internal project stakeholders Lead end to end execution of commercial or industrial construction projects focused on mechanical systems Develop, monitor, and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and KPIs Conduct planning and coordination meetings with suppliers, designers, and construction teams to align project goals Ensure risk mitigation strategies are identified and implemented throughout the project lifecycle Facilitate ongoing communication between engineering, operations, and customer contacts to drive progress Manage documentation for project turnover and closeout, addressing any outstanding deficiencies Track and report project performance and financials to senior leadership Authorize expenditures and oversee contract related documentation within project scope Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (preferred) 5+ years of project management experience in commercial or industrial construction Strong background in mechanical systems or MEP coordination PMP or equivalent certification (or pursuing). Ideally, but not required. Proven ability to manage multiple active projects (around 5 at once) across stakeholders Proficiency in tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills Familiarity with construction contracts, scheduling constraints, and job site operations Willing to Travel up to 25%
