Training Specialist with Security Clearance

MANTECH seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Training Specialist to join our team in Arlington, VA. This is an onsite position. The Training Specialist - Mid Level will support government agency personnel by providing essential standards, services, and guidance on IT-related training programs. This role involves the development, delivery, and coordination of comprehensive training materials and courses specifically designed to enable users to utilize information technologies and systems more productively. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Providing standards, services, and guidance on IT related training programs designed to enable government agency personnel to use information technologies and systems more productivelyConducting training needs analysis and designing curriculum for distance learning materials, including content outlines, learning objectives, and interactive simulationsReviewing application development user stories and features to determine training impact and conducting research to develop and revise interactive training materialsConducting Peer and Design reviews of training material for accuracy while maintaining policy and standards for online training throughout the development processPreparing training documentation, analyzing existing materials, and making recommendations to update processes to satisfy customer objectivesEstablishing project training plans including audience, approach, design, and list of deliverables using independent decision-makingPreparing student materials such as course manuals, workbooks, and instructor notes while ensuring all materials are 508 compliantTraining personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars while providing input to the Training Manager on continuous improvement Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Information Technology, or relevant certifications (MS-MCT, CompTIA CTT, SAFe, etc.) with 5 years of experience in trainingSignificant experience with Instructional Systems Design and the ability to demonstrate initiative and sound judgment in decision-makingSignificant experience in Customer Service with excellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with computer functions, technical terminology, and the application of hardware and software (PCs, MS Windows, MS Office) in business situationsExperience using Microsoft 365 productivity tools to support training and organizational tasksAbility to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally to support training requirements Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Agile development methodologies and prior technical training experienceExperience with multimedia development tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate, or CamtasiaExperience with webinar software including Webex, MS Teams, and Zoom, and applications such as ServiceNow and Salesforce Clearance Requirements:Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret clearance prior to starting this position.
