HR Intern Knight Aerospace exists at the exciting intersection of aerospace, military, and medical technology. Our mission is to modernize aerospace transportation to be modular, adaptable, and customizable in an ever-changing world. We have established ourselves as the industry leader in providing quality and reliable "Quick-Change/Roll-On Roll-Off" modules and pallets to enhance the functionality of various cargo aircraft. These products allow our customers to quickly adapt their aircrafts to fit their current needs. For example, our newest product is a Aeromedical Biocontainment Module that allows for isolated medical transport units to be installed into a cargo aircraft in 45 min. Especially with the onset of COVID19, demand in the market has proven the value of our products and now we are looking to scale up. We are proud of our products, company, and reputation. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. This role offers hands-on experience in various HR functions, providing valuable insight into HR best practices and helping develop essential skills for a career in human resources. The HR Intern will support daily operations and work closely with team members to assist in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with job postings on various platforms, including company websites and job boards Help organize and participate in recruitment events, career fairs, and networking opportunities Prepare onboarding materials, coordinate orientation schedules, and facilitate new hire orientation Assist in ensuring new employees complete the required documentation and set up accounts Support offboarding procedures, including conducting exit interviews and managing final paperwork Provide support in resolving employee inquiries and concerns in a confidential and professional manner Maintain accurate employee records and assist with data entry in HRIS and other databases Prepare reports on HR metrics such as hiring rates, employee turnover, and performance Assist in updating HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook Participate in the planning and execution of HR projects and initiatives General Expectations: Written and verbal communication skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completing an associate's degree in human resources or business administration, or a related field Strong interest in Human Resources and people management Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS software is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and willingness to take on diverse tasks Contact: Monica Zapata
