Job Description

Accounts Payable Clerk Location: Carson, CA Contract to hire Paying: $24-26/hour, based on experience Bachelor's degree required Position Overview The Accounts Payable Clerk supports day-to-day accounting operations with a primary focus on invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reconciliation. This role works closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial records while maintaining compliance with internal policies and deadlines. Key Responsibilities Review, code, and process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner Perform invoice matching and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and vendors Prepare and assist with check runs, ACH payments, and payment tracking Maintain organized and up-to-date AP files and supporting documentation Respond to vendor inquiries and assist with account reconciliations Support month-end close activities, including AP accruals and reporting Assist with audits by providing requested documentation and schedules Collaborate with accounting and program teams to ensure proper expense allocation Qualifications 13 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience Basic understanding of accounting principles and internal controls Experience with accounting software and ERP systems preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour Search managed by: Allison Lau Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
