Delivery Driver The 1978 Collection, a prestigious event company, is looking for a delivery driver. Delivery driver job description includes: Must have a current valid PA driver's license. Must have a clean driving record. Must have flexible hours during our peak season. We guarantee at least 40 hours per week. There are times during the peak season that on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays that you will be required to work more than an 8-hour day. There will be occasional weekend work required, usually deliveries occur Saturday mornings. There will be occasional Saturday late night pickups (11pm-12am). There is a special pay rate. There will be occasional on call Saturdays - you will be required to be on call for either 4 or 8 hours. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds. Must be able to get in and out of van multiple times during the course of the day. Must be able to use a GPS. Will be driving a small cargo van - double-loading doors at the rear and passenger side of the van. Will be delivering and picking up linens. The delivery route will have repeat and new customers. Will not delivery the exact same route each day or week. Must be able to read and comprehend a packing list of items to deliver. Must have a general knowledge of Pittsburgh area locations. Must have a neat appearance and good customer relations. Pre-employment drug screen and will be added for random drug screens. What we offer: Pay starting at $18.00 per hour.
