AM Back of House Shift Leader

AM Back of House Shift Lead Chick-fil-A Ponce & Boulevard is seeking a motivated and dependable AM Back of House (BOH) Shift Lead to support our morning operations and set the tone for a successful day. As an AM Shift Lead, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring our team delivers high-quality food with speed, accuracy, and care. Pay Range: $18.00 $19.00 per hour Shift Availability: 5:00 AM 5:00 PM (full availability for morning shifts required) Responsibilities Lead BOH team members during morning shifts to ensure smooth and efficient operations Oversee breakfast and lunch transitions while maintaining product quality and speed Model and maintain Chick-fil-A's high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organization Support, coach, and develop team members to maximize performance and teamwork Monitor food preparation, holding times, and kitchen flow to meet demand Communicate clearly with the Front of House (FOH) team to ensure timely and accurate service Assist with opening procedures, including prep, equipment checks, and kitchen readiness Uphold and enforce safety and sanitation standards in compliance with Chick-fil-A policies Qualifications Prior kitchen or food service leadership experience preferred Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Early morning availability required (including some weekends) ServSafe Certification preferred, but not required Benefits Competitive pay Sundays off Free employee meals during scheduled shifts Opportunities for growth and advancement within Chick-fil-A Positive, team-oriented work culture Paid time off Flexible schedule Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Employee discount Paid training
