We are seeking a high-energy, motivated, business-minded individual with strong estimator and sales skills to join our growing team. Sales Estimators are responsible for preparing estimates and proposals for construction projects in California. Specifically, they will collaborate with clients and internal teams to evaluate project needs, provide accurate cost proposals, and outline recommendations to establish a proposed solution and cost for the project. The ideal candidate will be a proactive go-getter with strong communication skills that will help grow the business by connecting our services with the biggest and best businesses in our industry through lead generation, prospecting, estimating, closing new deals, and conducting inspections for ongoing business. Your Role: Work closely with the Director of Sales to create new opportunities and support the closing of new business Connect with prospects via phone, email, and marketing campaigns Conduct in-person prospect visits and site visits to determine scope of work Price various divisions of work and analyze projects on a pre-bid basis for strengths and weaknesses Perform estimating with a high level of accuracy and efficiency Review project plans and specifications to generate comprehensive quote proposals, including cost analysis and price estimates Effectively communicate details to the project manager and client Work with clients to negotiate new work Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and company personnel Manage all activity in our CRM: Salesforce.com Required Qualifications: Motivated, self-starting attitude 1-2 years of full-time inside and outside sales experience using multiple sales techniques (including cold calls) Estimating experience (within the Construction industry a plus) Excellent written/verbal communication skills Ability to understand client needs and match to product sale Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited University Construction industry experience a plus CRM experience Understanding of sales performance metrics Ability to deliver engaging presentations What do we offer?
