VITA Site Assistant

VITA Site Assistant Trillium Staffing is seeking a seasonal VITA Site Assistant. The VITA Site Assistant is responsible for assisting with tax site setup, volunteer coordination, and service identified and developed by the coordinator. This is a temporary position. Essential duties of the VITA Site Assistant include: Provide administrative support. Manage intake and screening process at tax sites. Assist with setting up and cleaning tax sites. Provide quality review of taxes as needed. Attend meetings and training. Provide assistance. Schedule is 10 am - 6 pm, 11 am - 7 pm, Monday - Friday. Pay rate is $20 - $22 an hour depending on experience. Education and Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or GED 2 years of applicable experience Must be able to pass the IRS Certification Exam Skills and Requirements: Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and motivate volunteer-based staff. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and internet research. Organizational skills. Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a diverse population of volunteers. Excellent written and oral skills. Candidates must have a valid Michigan drivers license.
