Escrow Insurance Assistant

Escrow Insurance Assistant Under the direction of the Loan Servicing Supervisor, the Escrow Insurance Assistant will perform administrative duties related to insurance monitoring for consumer and commercial loan portfolio established by the Department Manager including but not limited to the essential functions listed below. Essential Functions Ensure all insurance policies received through email are uploaded timely to the vendor site. Review and sort incoming mail for escrowed insurance invoices to ensure payment is made on time to avoid gaps in coverage or cancellation of policy. Monitor internal tracking reports to ensure receipt of evidence of renewal or replacement coverage prior to expiration to avoid force placed coverage. Print and mail all insurance notices. Review daily workflow for assignments. Respond to general client inquiries regarding insurance. Perform calls out to insurance companies/agents for proof of coverage and invoices. Review and distribute mail internally and to the vendor. Assist team to download and save reports. Assist team to log requests. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent with some college business classes preferred. Experience: Corporate work experience and some loan servicing experience is preferred. Skills/Ability: PC literate, proficiency with MS Office; use of IBS loan system a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills; Bilingual (English, Mandarin or Cantonese) is a plus. Other Details $21.50 - $24.50 / hour Pay determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
