Surgery - Neurosurgery Physician Assistant

This opportunity is based at an exciting Level I Trauma Center in beautiful Palm Springs, California, offering both professional challenge and personal fulfillment. We re seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to play an integral role in managing inpatient consults and supporting patients in the outpatient clinic setting. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS - Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week with one weekend per month - Inpatient Care: Evaluate and manage neurosurgery inpatient consults in collaboration with the surgical team - Surgical Assistance: Support both elective and emergent surgical cases - Outpatient Clinic: Provide care for postoperative and elective patients in a clinic environment - Team Environment: Work alongside two full-time neurosurgeons, two part-time neurosurgeons, and three APPs in a collaborative, patient-centered setting COMPENSATION - Competitive salary with opportunities for additional hours and overtime - Facility: Participate in high-acuity cases at a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center - Salary Range: $150,000 - $176,000 annually - Comprehensive benefits package - Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance negotiable QUALIFICATIONS - Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - Experience in neurosurgery or a related surgical specialty preferred - Active state license, DEA registration, and CPR certification required - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment - Strong communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care Life in the Coachella Valley - Experience a unique blend of relaxation and adventure in the Coachella Valley where world-class healthcare meets world-famous leisure.
